Well, it certainly didn’t take long for Russia to weigh in. Maybe when Joe Biden was alluding to a “test” for the new President, he wasn’t far off.
Just the beginning of the article, but please view entire article.
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/europe/article5090077.ece
President Dmitri Medvedev took advantage of the euphoria in America today to order the deployment of missiles inside Europe as a response to US plans for a missile defence shield.
Speaking within hours of Barack Obama’s election as the new US President, Mr Medvedev announced that Russia would base Iskander missiles in its Baltic exclave of Kaliningrad next to the border with Poland.
He did not say whether the short-range missiles would carry nuclear warheads. Mr Medvedev also cancelled earlier plans to withdraw three intercontinental ballistic missile regiments from western Russia.
“An Iskander missile system will be deployed in the Kaliningrad region to neutralise if necessary the anti-ballistic missile system in Europe,” Mr Medvedev said in his first state-of-the-nation address.
According to the Bible and the prophecy of the end of days, Russia and Iran join an alliance (see Gog and MaGog) which will trigger events which will eventually lead to the end of days.
The Perfect Storm seems to be happening, and regardless of your religious beliefs or lack thereof, hold on to your hats and say your prayers, because we’re in for a ride.
Today Isreal and Hamas are at it again, Iran is sending us warnings to stay out of their airspace and there’s many things going on which could be directly interpreted as signs of the upcoming collapse of peace.
It’s a good thing that we have a new great leader with years and years of extensive foreign policy who can deal with this. All Hail Barry our Savior!

I was actually going to write a few words about B. Hussien’s latest co-sponsoring of a national fingerprint bill for all Realtors and others who facilitate home loans, but I stumbled on to some interesting information that, what a surprise, threw me in another direction. Barry’s voting record. Our beloved Messiah has one of the most pathetic records as a senator, and is probably one of the most impotent senators in congress. Some interesting statistics:
Starting with most recent:
Bill: On the Nomination (Confirmation Mark S. Davis of Virginia, to be US District Judge )
Vote: Abstain
Bill:Energy and Tax Extenders Act of 2008
To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide incentives for energy production and conservation, to extend certain expiring provisions, to provide individual income tax relief, and for other purposes.
Vote: Abstain
But here’s the kicker:
BillPetroleum Consumer Price Gouging Protection Act
A bill to provide energy price relief and hold oil companies and other entities accountable for their actions with regard to high energy prices, and for other purposes.
Hey, isn’t this one pretty important according to all his campaign rhetoric? Aren’t we supposed to be holding big oil companies responsible for $4 per gallon gas?
Vote: ABSTAIN Huh… must not matter that much.
This is change that works for you? I guess he didn’t really mean what he said when he vowed to make oil companies take responsibility for their evil profits.
Anyway, there is a great website called OpenCongress where there is a wealth of information on congress and their pathetic miserable voting records. And Barry O isn’t the only one. Ugh… Make sure you don’t have a gun near you when you read some of this stuff.
http://www.opencongress.org/
That’s it. Just a quick note and a valuable resource.
Oh, crap… one more interesting stat: In his entire Senatorial Career:
Number of sponsored bills: 65 (Ranks 16 of 100)
Number of sponsored bills passed: 0 (Ranks 36 of 100)
I’d hate to be numbers 1-35

Ahhh, the Leiberman-Warner Bill. I see that congress is finally bored with Raking the Rocket (no raking the rocket isn’t a clever euphemism for some sex act, so get your minds out of the gutter), so they’ve decided to lay off that ever-so-crucial issue of steroid use in baseball and focus on Global Warming for a while and see how they can screw it up, distort it and find some new way to screw you and me through overtaxing, overspending… well, you get the point. Hence, the America’s Climate Security Act of 2007 (S. 2191), sponsored by Senators Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) and John Warner (R-VA).
This bill is disastrous, to say the least, and will cause our already declining economy to take the express train to the crapper instead of the steam locomotive that it’s currently on thanks to Congress and their complete impotence and unwillingness to do anything about it. But I digress (adhd).
What is the cap and trade? Simply put, it’s bill based on the false premise that we need to do something about the GLOBAL WARMING CRISIS. In basic terms, let’s use the Tale of Two Evil Earth-Polluting Coal Burning Earth-Killing Electric plants. One plant (A) emits 500 tons of Greenhouse Gases (GRG from now on). The other even eviler plant (b) emits 900, because of their greedy, people hating CEO and his utter lack of regard for the earth and it’s inhabitants. So, Heir Leiberman and Herr Warner come in and say, “Hey you rotten scum polluters,” we’re going to average you out at 700 tons each, and then we’re going to make you spend millions and millions of your evil excess greedy immoral profits to reduce your emmissions by 15% by 2020, and you better obey or we’ll fine you $25,000 per day ever day you don’t meet the deadline.” So, (A) has to reduce theirs by 75 and (b) has to reduce theirs by 135. There’s your Cap. Where’s the Trade? Let’s say that (b) spends millions and gets it down to 500, well below their cap. But poor (A) can’t quite do it. Well, then (b) has the extra 205 credits. (b) can then sell their extra credits to (A) and make a tidy little sum of cash. And the rub? A and B have to spend millions and millions more to reduce to 65% over the next 40 years or so until the “problem is solved.”
Let me interrupt this with a multiple choice quiz:
How is this going to be paid for?
A) The generous corporate execs who, out of the goodness of their heart are going to spring for it out of company profits.
B) These companies are going to significantly increase their rates to make up for the cost.
C) Don’t worry, it’ll work itself out!
Anyway, While our spineless weasels in congress are coming up with newer and far reaching ways to empty our pockets, China, India, Russia and just about every other company is doing what they can to drill, mine and tap all the natural resources in every way they can.
So while Lieberman and Warner are patting themselves on the back while our whole economy is headed towards ruins, every other place on earth is thriving, exploring, providing tax breaks for their oil and coal companies, building ships to exploit every crevice they can find to get its riches, we’re putting handcuffs on all of our industries and telling them their making to much money.
Incidently, the predictions range, but one prediction I ran acrosss stated that even if this cap and trade were put in place and it worked, the global temperature would be reduced by about .015 percent. for those of you that graduated from the public school system, that means that if you had a dollar, That would amount to Lincoln’s Ear on the penny. Oh, sorry… Lincoln was our 16th president and his profile is featured on the penny. That’s that little worthless copper thing still floating around and who the heck knows why.
but back to cap and trade- Our GDP will be reduced in a big way. That means we stop spending on money. We stop driving as much. Food, oil, everything is going to skyrocket like we’ve never seen and we are DOOMED I say, Doomed! Okay, well, I might have just gone a bit too far, but it won’t be good. Maybe the Republicans will eventually grow a spine and tell the Dems to cut the crap. yeah, that’s going to happen.
it’s not going to work, hopefully it will get killed, it’s a bad idea and brings us a step closer to Socialism.
Rant = off. have a nice Saturday. Gotta mow the lawn while I can still put gas in it.

Oh, you women-hating, sexists bigots on the left, you should be ashamed of yourselves. But at least you’re not a bunch of racists who hate black people! 50% of you proved it by voting for your new Savior! Wonder who Robert the Klansman Byrd REALLY supported?
A special thanks to the media as well who have already decided that he’s going to be the next president.

Well, they finally decided

The Dems have decided that it’s better to be a sexists than a racists, so our new Messiah, B. Hussein Obama, has taken the nomination.
Good for them! “I have a Dream,” “President Obama?” “Two Words: Black President,” are all the latest headlines. Maybe we should just fore go the formalities and swear him in now. After all, What would be better than change in ‘09 than change in ‘08?

Capping and Trading Ourselves Silly
